Fabrics & Leather
When it comes to fabric or leather, we know you want choice but don't want to be overwhelmed by too many options (choosing fabrics can be stressful!).
So we've done the hard work for you and can show you a range of fabrics that fit into our 'included' price and are incredibly durable, ready for relaxing and fashionable. But we're not about to limit you and we can literally source any fabric.
Our designers are here to help you with those choices, and we promise that we're still excited every time we get those hangers out.
Then we'll send you samples of the fabrics you love, so you can take your time, show them to your family and see how the colours work at home. That way, you can be absolutely sure you've made the right choice.
Comfort Options

Room Planning
Not sure what size sofa will work best in your space? Our designers can help.
Using your floor plan or room measurements, we'll create a scaled furniture layout that takes into account comfort, functionality and flow. We'll then draw the room in CAD so you can see exactly how your new furniture will fit before you buy, giving you confidence that you've chosen the right pieces for your home.

Lead Time & Delivery
All our furniture is made in Melbourne and we aim to deliver your new furniture in just 8 weeks. Throughout production, we'll provide you with updates, so you'll always know how your piece is coming along.
When it's time for delivery, we make the process seamless for you. A week before delivery, your design consultant will contact you to arrange a time that suits you best. Our experienced delivery team will arrive on time and carefully install your new Momu furniture.
We deliver all over Australia, so no matter where you are, we can get your furniture to you. All packaging will be removed and recycled, and if you have an old sofa that needs to be taken away, talk to us about disposal options and we'll take care of that as well.

Can you make a sofa to a custom size?
Yes. Our sofas can be made to custom dimensions, which is particularly useful if you have a specific space to work with or simply can't find the right size sofa elsewhere.
We can often adjust the width, depth or height of a sofa, depending on the design. We can also make custom configurations for modular sofas.
If you have a particular size in mind, get in touch or bring your measurements or floor plan into our showroom and we'll let you know what's possible.
What customisation do you offer for comfort?
One of the biggest advantages of having a sofa made to order is that we can tailor it to you, rather than expecting you to adapt to a standard sofa.
Depending on the sofa, we can customise things such as the seat depth, seat height and back height, as well as the seat filling and, in some cases, the height or configuration of the sofa itself.
For example, if you find most sofas too deep, we can reduce the depth. If you're taller or prefer a higher sitting position, we can increase the seat height.
We believe comfort is very personal, so when you visit our Melbourne showroom, we encourage you to try our different sofas and fillings and talk to us about what feels comfortable to you.
How do I know what size sofa is right for my space?
Choosing the right sofa size isn't just about measuring the wall. The proportions of the room, the position of doors and windows, the size of your other furniture and how you want to use the space all make a difference.
When you visit our Melbourne showroom, we can help you work through the options and suggest a sofa size that will work well in your room. We can also make our sofas to custom dimensions, so you're not restricted to standard sofa sizes.
If you're unsure, bring your room measurements or floor plan with you. We can talk through the different options and help you work out what will give you the best balance of comfort, proportion and space.
How do I decide what seat filling is right for me?
There's no single seat filling that's right for everyone. Some people prefer a supportive, firmer seat, while others want something softer and more relaxed.
We offer several different seat filling options, including Premium Comfort, Luxury Comfort and Feather Comfort, each with a different feel.
Our Luxury Comfort filling includes a layer of memory foam, while Feather Comfort gives a softer, more relaxed feel.
The best way to decide is to try them. In our Melbourne showroom, you can sit on sofas with different fillings and compare how they feel for yourself. We can also talk you through how each filling behaves over time, or which filling will suit the configuration of your new sofa.
I have an awkward space. How do I work out what sofa layout will work?
If you're not sure what size sofa will work in your room, or you're struggling to work out the best layout, we can help.
Our free room planning service takes the guesswork out of choosing your furniture. Working from your floor plan or room measurements, we'll map out the best layout for your space, looking at things like comfortable viewing distances, conversation areas and clear pathways.
We'll then draw the proposed furniture layout to scale in CAD, so you can see exactly how your new sofa, modular sofa, armchairs and other furniture will fit.
This is particularly helpful for awkwardly shaped rooms, open-plan spaces or rooms where you're trying to fit several pieces of furniture together. It can also help you work out whether a standard sofa, custom-sized sofa or modular configuration will work best.

Which sofa fabrics are best for families and pets?
The best upholstery fabric for a busy home depends on how your sofa will be used, but there are lots of beautiful fabrics that are practical enough for everyday life with children and pets.
Texture, colour and pattern can all make a difference. A textured or patterned fabric can be more forgiving of everyday marks than a very plain, pale fabric, while some fabrics are particularly well suited to homes where there's a lot of wear and tear.
Many of our fabrics also have built-in fabric protection, making them a great choice for busy households. If the fabric you've fallen in love with doesn't have built-in protection, we can arrange to have it professionally treated before we make your sofa.
We have a large range of upholstery fabrics to choose from, and we're happy to help you find one that balances the look you love with the practicality you need. If you're worried about spills, staining, scratching or general wear and tear, tell us how your sofa will be used. We've got plenty of experience helping customers choose a fabric that's beautiful, durable and right for their home.
I'm interstate but would love one of your sofas. What's the best way to go about it?
You don't need to live in Melbourne to have a Momu sofa made for you.
If you can't visit our Melbourne showroom, we're happy to help you remotely. We can talk through the different sofa styles, dimensions, customisation options, seat fillings and fabrics, and help you work out what will suit your space and how you like to sit.
A video call is a great way to see the sofas and to see someone sitting in them, so we can actually demonstrate how you may want your new sofa customised to suit your comfort.
We can send fabric samples to you, and if you have a floor plan, room measurements or photographs of your space, these are really useful too.

Our sofas come with a 10-year warranty, because we're confident in the quality of the materials and construction we use.
